Ayurveda Gynaecology is a branch of Ayurveda mainly focusing on the unique health needs of women, addressing everything from menarche to menopause.

- Menstrual irregularities like increased or reduced bleeding during menstruation, Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome, absence of active periods before menopause, Fibroid uterus

- Female infertility (vandyatwa)

Approach :
The disease will be diagnosed using the modern technology along with the application of Ayurveda principles. The management of the conditions includes local treatments like Uttara basti, vaginal douche, vaginal pessaries etc; panchakarma therapies, Oral medications, dietary advice and counselling. These modalities will be chosen based on the patients’ condition. The treatment usually will be long term ranging from few weeks to months.
